Hinsdale Living profiled Katy on her own page in its Premier Lawyers feature.
The profile is about how she works with clients, and it starts with listening. “I not only get the honor of advocating, but I get the privilege of listening,” she told the magazine.
It also covers the path that brought her to law. She worked in public relations before starting law school at 29, and joined Beermann between her second and third year. “Family law is not about the attorney and what they have to say; it’s about the client and their situation and how we can best explain and advocate.”
